Abstract

The process of urbanization is rapidly advancing, with urban infrastructure and management services continually improving. Effective urban community management significantly influences economic, social, and political development and has yielded notable successes. Nonetheless, several challenges persist, including unclear delineation of street community functions, a heavily administrative approach to community management, limited public participation, and inadequate development of community administration teams. This paper begins by examining the current state of urban community management and its significance for social development. Through investigation, data collection, and analysis, it identifies existing issues in the management and operation of urban communities. Furthermore, it offers recommendations for clarifying functional divisions, innovating community service mechanisms, enhancing community governance laws and regulations, developing an internet service platform, and leveraging the leadership of grassroots party organizations. These suggestions aim to provide a valuable reference for the effective management of urban communities.
